Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Breakfast Baseball. Please read them before using the app. By downloading or using Breakfast Baseball, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
01 Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Breakfast Baseball, you confirm that you can form a binding agreement and that you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the app on behalf of someone else, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for them.
02 The service
Breakfast Baseball is an iOS app that presents proprietary pitching analytics — including Composite, Stuff+, Predictive Stuff+, Command+, Performance+, and durability scores — derived from public, pitch-level baseball data. Scores are scaled so that 100 represents league average for a pitcher's role.
There is no account or sign-in. Some features are free; others require Breakfast Baseball Plus. We may add, change, or remove features, data, or scores at any time as the model and product evolve.
03 Not affiliated with MLB
Breakfast Baseball is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Major League Baseball or MLB Advanced Media. Team names, logos, and related marks are property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
04 Informational use only
Our scores are analytical opinions, not statements of fact or predictions of future results. The app is provided for information and entertainment. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data or score, and nothing in the app is betting, investment, fantasy, or professional advice. Any decisions you make based on the app are your own responsibility.
05 Breakfast Baseball Plus & payments
Plus unlocks premium features such as historical data, Movers, the Trend Builder, and PDF export. Plus is offered as:
A standard 2027 season pass is planned at $14.99. Prices may change for future seasons; any change applies to new purchases. Promo codes are supported where offered.
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through your App Store account and are subject to Apple's terms. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can manage or cancel renewal in your device's Settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies — contact us and we'll help point you in the right direction.

07 Intellectual property
The Breakfast Baseball name, logo, app design, and — most importantly — the custom scoring system and the methodology behind it are our proprietary intellectual property. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial enjoyment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. The underlying baseball data reflects public information; our scores and presentation of it are ours.
08 Third-party content & links
Highlights link out to MLB Film Room, which is hosted by Major League Baseball. We do not host, embed, or control that video, and we are not responsible for third-party sites or their content. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
09 Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data and scores will always be accurate or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Breakfast Baseball will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will post the new version with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or limit access if these terms are violated or to protect the service.
